One of the first theories discussed in this film is that with the invention of writing, men became dominant over women since writing changed the course of civilization. Writing is a left brain activity and men are more left brain oriented than women. Right brain activity, which is more prominent in women, generally, concerns imagery. It is only appropriate that this film, directed and co-written by a woman, Tiffany Shlain, would be rampant with images, visuals demonstrating almost every word of dialogue.Read more here
