Tiffany Shlain Filmography

Tiffany has been making films for over 20 years. She studied film theory at UC Berkeley and film production at NYU’s Sight and Sound program. Her films have been selected at over 100 film festivals around the world — including Sundance, Tribeca and Rotterdam — have won over 65 awards and distinctions — including Audience and Grand Jury Prizes — and have been translated into 70 languages. Tiffany Shlain IMDB

Natural Connection (2001): This experimental film explores technology’s affect on culture. Premiered at the San Francisco Opera House at the 2001 Webby Awards.

Machine Time (2000): This experimental film uses a montage of found footage, animation and original footage to convey the web as the ultimate time machine. This film premiered at The 2000 Webby Awards.

Less is Moore (2000): This documentary explores the lives of Gordon and Betty Moore. Gordon is best known for his accurate prediction of the growth of the computer industry coined “Moore’s Law.”

Zoli’s Brain (1994-unfinished)

Hunter & Pandora (1992): This experimental narra tive is about a love affair between a two young lovers, Hunter & Pandora. Winner of the Best Experimental Film at Cinequest Film Festival.

Closet of Dr. of Caligari (1992): Recontextualization of the famous German Expressionist film, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, into a film about AIDS.

Reel Inspiration (1992): This Documentary investigates Bay Area Women Filmmakers.
