On May 10th, 2017, over 11,000 events happened around the globe in companies, organizations, schools, museums, libraries and homes for the first ever 50/50 Day — a global day of film screenings, discussions, and a global Q&A around how to get to a more gender-balanced world in all sectors of society, from the economy and politics to culture and home. 50/50 Day had over 500 million press and social media impressions, including coverage of the Times Square billboard, recent ABC News article, NPR interview, Variety, Bloomberg, Time Magazine. British Airways showed 50/50 on all their planes in May for 50/50 Day and much more.
#CharacterDay2016 had over 92,000 events in 124 countries in all 50 states.
What will #CharacterDay2017 have in store?
On September 13, 2017, join millions of people around the globe for the fourth annual Character Day — a free day and global initiative where school districts, organizations, families, and congregations of all sizes screen films on the science of character development from different perspectives, dive into free printed discussion materials catered to different ages, and join an online global conversation around the importance of developing character strengths (resilience, grit, empathy, courage, kindness)–all rooted in evidence-based research.
