AS A MILL VALLEY KID, Tiffany Shlain practically grew up in the Sequoia Theater, watching movies every weekend with her parents. So it meant a lot to her when her documentary, "Connected: An Autobiography about Love, Death and Technology," opened with a splash in her childhood multiplex last weekend for a run that ends on Sept. 29.
